This is a guideline document for customers in managing their own system platform. As the maintenance contract you currently have with Contact Central is based on application support and hardware 'break/fix', this document highlights the areas which you are responsible for. It identifies simple, practical and common sense measures of platform ‘housekeeping’. It will help you maintain and enhance overall performance and mitigate the business impact of potential problems.
BT Contact Central now provides a Preventative Maintenance Service which offers a selection of the housekeeping activities, as outlined in the new Service Schedule and the Housekeeping Guide.
